'Gap Insurance

Exactly what is it or does it cover (ALL) and who can you get it from actual agents and how much. (phone # and name)

Does it pay just for truck expenses?
Does it pay for your personal pay as well?
Is it a seperate policy?

If anyone has this please share it. Insurance agents I have spoken to do not have it and do not believe it is available unless it was underwritten by Loyds of London for the very rich or unusual circimstances. No professional atheletes on the Site are there?

I did check and I do have down time coverage but they will go over your books like an IRS audit to determine what they can not pay you.

Unless there's something I don't know about gap insurance is to cover the difference between the payoff amount of a claim and the payoff amount of outstanding loan balance. As far as I know it is purchased through the seller at the time of the vehicle purchase and incorporated into the payment. It should be available from the original selling dealer although I don't know what's involved in purchasing it after the fact.
