Fuel Island Truck Wash

There I am this morning at 5:45 fueling when the guy next to me decides I need a bath as much as his truck.

Now getting wet did ##### me off but what I was really worried about or would have been mad about is if he sprayed water into my tanks on accident. The tanks were dry but that was my original thought I just spent 3 weeks down to repair 4 injectors and we all know how suspectable these are to water.

Lets say for example the tanks were wet near the fuel opening what would you have demanded from the Truck Washer. A picture tells a thousand words also so there is a camera in my truck for proof. Now 200 miles later ROUGH IDLE, injector going bad?????

I did yell back at this guy when I was showered with out request. After paying for fuel I observed driver after driver overspraying onto the truck next to them? Why in the Hall does one need to wash a truck on a fuel island? If you practice this you should rethink or be carefull of the person next to you, as these drivers were idiots or worst......

Broom,
I went through the same thing my last week out.

I was fueling up and got completely soaked by two idiots next to me in a KW who just had to spray down the engine comparment getting crude all over my freshly washed truck and me. I never thought of the tanks, least of my concerns with wet clothes and 40 degree air temp. They never appoligized or even seemed to be concerned about what happened, just got into their truck and left. I went into Pilot dripping wet and the manager was nice enough to let me have a free access to the shower to clean up and change.

It's also infuriating when you have to stand in the puddles of oily, fuel stained water to fuel and then climb into your truck with that mess on your feet to pull forward. They should pull every hose from the fuel island and shut off the water to the faucets. I can't say what I really feel about this or it might burn out the server from overloading the censor program and my post would be nothing but a bunch of mask symbols. This is probably one of the most likely things to eventually get me in trouble at a truckstop. I'll make sure I don't start things though so I can be the complainee and the other guy can be the jailee.
