I scan my BOL / POD's with the scanner in my QC.....or I can use my "Neat Receipts" scanner to scan them to a PDF file and e-mail them...either way saves big money over a yrs time....

Good info. Could save someone a few dollars. I'm looking forward to sending / receiveing/ scanning from the truck. I lost a predispatch this week because of a fax not received @ shipper.

You know... you can scan them to a PDF and then upload them directly into the system on Fleet Vision. Settlements, Trips Missing PW, click the Pro# of any missing paperwork and it'll let you upload it directly into the system. It's the same as scanning with the QC scanner.
As each of my trips requires customs ppwk to be sent to dispatch, I use Scanner Pro on my iPhone. I don't even bother asking shipper if they have a fax machine.

If anyone needs to fax there bol in you can do so for free. Theres a coupon for it in there pilot magazine. Kinda cool I just did it and it worked.

I grab the Pilot mag every month for the coupon, just in case, and I've used it a few times.
Being a newbie, you might not have discovered [yet] the free showers on the Ohio Turnpike - it's good to know where the freebies are, lol.
