Last year our owner bought our Thanksgiving dinner. I thought it was a nice token of appreciation. We were in the Seattle area and found a nice little family owned restaurant, they didn't have parking but was right beside a strip mall that was closed, so we parked in it. The food was great, real turkey, ham, salad or soup, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoe cassarole, cranberry salad, steamed green beans almadine, pumpkin pie and coffee all included. Although I do have to say it wasn't the same as being home. I didn't have to cook, do dishes, didn't have to listen to any family arguements nor did I have to feel obligated to stay up and entertain when I wanted to do is take a nap. Seriously, I do hope to find a nice little family restaurant again this year, I really don't want to eat where I eat all year long.
