For the Newbies...Why we really do this

Its not the money it's the freedom.
Where the Buffalo roam to a big hole, to see the graceful movements of a pronghorn to a really big sculpture or catch the migration of the Elk at the base of the Tetons....
This is why we do what we do.

Great pics! I see you got that .jpeg thing figured out!

By the way... it is just a little for the money tho!

While I do want to make a little(okay alot) at the end of the day, It's not about money for me. This life is in my blood, and I'll never grow tired of roaming this country. I couldn't think of doing anything else.

Yep it's true we do it for the money but the job sometimes has huge benefits.....
And Steve I can relate it's either in your blood or not, 3 days home and I gotta go

I knew there was a reason I was looking forward to getting in the biz. I like both cash and freedom!

You are correct. Expediting offers the opportunity for both cash and freedom. Just undrstand that includes cash you pay to others for things like fuel, truck service and lodging; and the freedom to do things like sit for three days waiting for a load or sitting in a truck dealer's waiting room waiting for parts to arrive.

Hi
Yep there is room for all God's creatures:right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.Since I'm a part time tourist why do I have to pay full time taxes?

Now that's funny!
If you find yourself at the Teton's watch out for the hills. If you decide to stay awhile and spend a week you can rent a car and catch Yellowstone where you can catch the morning glory, minerva, numerous geisers and some spectacular waterfalls not to mention the best fly fishing in the world. Whatever your motivation for being an expediter I hope you are able to stop and smell the roses.

Those photos are as good as any I've seen in National Geographic, and from Clearwater, Fla, to the Columbia River in Washington State, this job has the best scenery in America. I'll never get tired of seeing another part of it, or a favorite part again. Thanks for the awesome reminders of what's possible! :)

Thank's Cheri for the flowers we all have to justify (to ourselves) why we do what we do...as for me no regrets and when my grandbuddy sits in my lap and looks at the world thru my eyes it is as good as it gets.
I wish for the lottery so I can buy a huge bus and take the whole gang to the "very best this world has to offer".
