I must be honest and say that, although I have heard of the R Itchen, I didn't know what County it was in ....I would be hopeless in a pub quiz LOL.

I have traced my ancestry back to Hampshire in the 1600's ... guess I should go visit!
Nice chalk stream the Itchen. Great fly hatches. I only fished it once, an experience I will hopefully never forget.
