In the past, I have taken breaks from Open Forum participation to focus on other items. It is time to do so once again. I'm going "off-forum" until March 1. The time I would have put into the Open Forum will be focused on our business and a couple personal projects instead.
This month FedEx Custom Critical has been running our wheels off on some very good loads. We expect that to continue through 2007. Friends of ours in similarly-configured trucks and with similar credentials report the same.
While Open Forum participation is informative (good info), entertaining (the soap opera aspect) and rewarding (helping others), business comes before pleasure. The income-producing opportunities ahead of us in 2007 are fantastic if we position ourselves to take advantage of them. To do so, I need to get ahead of the game on some business and personal projects. To do that, I'll be taking time off the Open Forum.
In another post, I said Diane and I will not be attending the Louisville truck show this year. That is for the same reasons. We are putting business before pleasure. The income we would sacrifice by attending the truck show will be used instead to pay off our truck that much sooner.
I'll miss the fun of the Open Forum and am already looking forward to catching up on old posts and participating again come March 1.
Take care and drive safe.
