Since I am still stock at home here is an emergency update.
Here in Fort Wayne Indiana we have had an major chemical explosion and fire.
This fire and now toxic clound is very near the major truck stop - fire and police are forcing people from nearby so you may want to avoid the truck stop in Fort Wayne just off I-69!
Reports have several injuries and some reports have one firefighter killed.

******UPDATE AT 1:14AM 8/2/06- No firefighters were killed. One is in critical condition with several others injured. Area near the truck stop will be restricted to various degrees for several days. This was a magnisium foundry of some sort so they have to let the magnisium burn itself out as water would only flame it back up and explode. But at least good news about the fire fighter not being killed. Still limit your traffic through north Fort Wayne and by the truck stop off of I-69.**************

******************UPDATE: 8/2/06 1054PM - reports have the situation undere control. even though there is a small smoke clound over the area of the explosion and fire it is not a high enough toxic level to be of any public health concern. be safe - all clear. only one serious injury but not life threatning! several fire fighters suffered minor injuries. better outcome than expected!!!!!*********
