Many of you have met Scott G or have at least seen him attending the Expedite Expo. He is the REALLY tall guy who wears an an utilikilt. I was finally able to talk with Scott during MATS this year as well as on a conference call about how he is sharing his biking passion with other drivers.
Scott and his cohorts have created a web site that outlines bike trails all over the United States that are near truck stops or at least how to get a truck to the trails. Many of the trails can be used for walking as well.
Scott is a vegetarian and he likes farmers markets, these markets are pointed out on the various trails.
Scott will once again be attending the Expo along with his bike. Take the time to say Hi to Scott I think you will find him as interesting as I have. He plans on walking with us in the mornings and I am encouraging him to attend the BBQ.
Scott is fun to talk to and even though I am almost two feet shorter than he is I can still hear him in the distance.
I am sharing a picture of Scott folding himself onto the cots to give blood at the American Red Cross Blood Drive during MATS.
His site is fascinating and one I think everyone will enjoy:

He also has an active Facebook Page:
