I own my own small equipment leasing company...we sell most of our paper to GE Credit...they do most anything that they can put a value on at the end term...lease or puchase
Better to get a loan from your bank/credit union instead of financing through a dealership!!ps a dealership might be tough to go through unless you have a great credit rating i know people that got turn down from loans that had a 650 credit rating
We acquired our truck through owner financing. An ad posted in the classifieds here on EO yielded our first call 1.5 hours after the ad was posted. We consummated the deal less than a month later, and our truck will be paid off in less than a year.
Also, the terms were excellent.
FWIW, we have fielded several calls since then from owners looking to unload trucks in the same fashion. Might be something to consider.
The Fairville company is a decent company to fiance a truck though, they spelciaze in truck & equipment fiancing for first timers & people with bad or no credit.
