For those of you who remember Broompilot he is doing well and gave me an interesting tip.
Each year both of us store our records in a clear plastic bucket with the year written on a card on the end of the bucket. This makes it easy to look at the buckets and see what year the bucket holds and as the years pass I rotate out the buckets as they age out.
What Kraig suggested is that when I place my receipts in my plastic tote leave the receipts in the file folder and make new file folders for the next year. I have always taken my receipts out and I would place a sheet of paper in-between my receipts. The cost of file folders is not a big deal and I will adopt this practice this year.
