FEDX HOME DELIVERY

Can anyone give any input on this service that is offered by FEDX? Im going to talk with them in the morning and would like any input that you might have, the good bad and the ugly. Thanks

i work with fedex cc i dont know anything about fedex home but fedex cc is a great the run the wheels off our truck

I have heard that FDX Home is not a good deal,many deliveries are made late at night and you will run many miles in your area just to locate a residence and that person will be not be home.

Basically FDX Home delivery is the residential delivery division of FedEx Ground. You deliver up to 9 PM (I think) and mon-sat. Be sure to listen carefully when you talk to them.

I spoke with an FDX Home driver recently and he said he was happy.

At a FedEX terminal I once picked up a company publication where I read about a FedEx Home Delivery driver (if memory serves, maybe FedEx Epxress). His truck overheated at the end of his day and he had one package left to deliver. He borrowed a bicycle and peddled 10 miles one way to complete the delivery. THAT's dedication. I think of that story evey time I see a FedEx Ground unit. FedEx Ground trucks have a green "Ex" in the FedEx logo. FedEx CC is sometimes called FedEx Blue for the blue "Ex" in it's logo.

thanks for the input guys, I talked to a few of the drivers and they all seemed to be happy, I have young kids and the idea of being home every night seems like it will be better for me, but if the money isnt there I will see you all in the freight lanes. ps picked up my Sprinter today 2500 158" wheel base, will keep everyone posted. Congratulations on your new truck purchase! Please DO keep us posted, especially about the Sprinter. Since my wife and I run in a striaght truck, we've not done an in depth analysis on that vehicle. All I know for sure is I LOVE that van. I think it's one of the coolest concepts and coolest looking vehicles on the road. I know some folks have Sprinter complaints and criticisms. My emotional opinion has nothing to do with that. Sprinters catch my eye and lift my mood every time one drives by (OK, I'm easily amused!). I hope your Sprinter works out great. We're rooting for you!
