White Glove is part of CC. These units have special equipment and drivers to handle the most delicate loads. Trucks are accepted into WG by application/acceptance. Usually there is a waiting list.

exactly ! yes they get paid more but spend lots of money to be wg and must be a team so double cost of living on road and well basically 1 accident and driving career could end if wreck is at fault with a large claim!

MX don't be fooled, they are supposed to be the elite of the fleet but when the fed has to fill solts, they pick anyone who "qualifies" and for those who have trucks in WG, they allow the owner to keep the truck in WG with non-qualified people in it. Beside surface hauls WG freight a lot more than they will ever say.

I am WG, and do not spend extra to live on the road. I cook in the truck, buy my groceries at Wal-Mart, and watch expenses like everyone else.

It's more than ego and being "prep" as well, the customer is paying a premium price for a premium service. I'm not saying that anyone can't drive these loads, but when it comes to sloshing nitro, rembreandts, and NASA parts, would you hire a guy with a machete in his pants ?

How much did you spend on your truck, CM? Next, how much time did you do in Surface Expedite before you put that WG/TVAL truck in the fleet?

Now, do you get Greg's point?

I drive for an owner, and I spent one year in surface before moving to w/g. I do not spend extra to be w/g, yet enjoy the enhanced revenue. I do not get gregs point.

They will not, however, dispose of pallets.

Why do you not qualify for white glove services ? And God has nothing to do with it, I doubt God knows anything about FedEx or white glove.
