Hello. I have a chance to drive an older truck solo for Fedex White Glove. Can you tell me about what I will make? Could I make about 500.00 to 600.00 a week?? I want to make sure it will be worth my time to drive this truck.
Any help. Thanks

I would ask when the last inspection was done on it.Expediting trucks usually run up high mileages but most of the miles are highway miles which are a lot easier on the truck that 700k city miles. You might be able to check with Fedex Safety to see if the truck was in any accidents.
Is it a Class 7 or 8 truck and what make/model is it? You should be able to tell from the sound, the handling and overall appearance of the truck as too it's condition.

I was looking into FedEx CC White Glove. Geoff Price is one of their recruiters. He told me that you have to be a team operation to get into White Glove.

They want teams but if you have a White/Glove equipped truck they will take you on. You will be somewhat restricted in the loads offered as many W/G trips require teams but there are some opportuniies for solo drivers.
I ran as ateam with W/G for many years and for the last 18 months I operated as a solo driver. From Jan 1 ,2005 till June 30,2006 40% of my loads were White Glove so it can be done.
