Research the archives as alot of people work for that division. I realize my response is vague but everyones perception can change from day to day and by looking at the history in the archives you can get the big picture. If you have any direct questions feel free to drop me an E-mail I will be glad to help.

FX has been discussed many many times. You should read back at least one year in each of the general, newbies and recruiter forums if you are researching expediting as a possible career. Doing so will give you many discussion of FX and others to study. Once you've absorbed as much of that as you can you'll have a good foundation to pursue further questions you may have. Good luck.

The pay is very very good with the white glove division.
But you had better have a strong back.
Because it is nothing more than a moving company.

White Glove is a Division within FedEx Custom Critical. Owner/operator applicants for that division come from the rank and file Surface Expedite Division. Some pre-qualified White Glove truck owners are authorized to hire drivers who eventually become fully qualified to perform all of the White Glove specific runs.

As mentioned, there is a lot of inside deliveries, loading and unloading challenges that that test your physical as well as mental strengths. If accepted, you will be well rewarded for your efforts.

One of the things we like most about white glove is it makes us elibible for more loads than we would otherwise be. That is a revenue plus. Of course the nature of some of those loads can be trying at times, but for the most part we enjoy white glove work.

Good and bad are relative terms. What is good for one driver may be bad for another. For example, a driver with a bad back would be wise to avoid white glove work altogether. But a healthy driver can take a "good" load that involves an inside delivery.

Whether white glove would be good or bad for you depends on many things, most of which have to do with you. As others have said, read the archives to help you decide.
