Road time check the perrysburg, oh discount tire they keep our size tires in stock because a few of us go there.

Thanks, But another dead end for me. However, if all goes right, a solution to my on-going tire dilemma has been found :)

Banging my head, after being told, and by multiple reports, that my tires were summer only, now I'm being told they are all-season tires. I don't know what to believe now

I can't recommend Michelin LTX MS2 highly enough.

So... you don't want to know we are in Texas and it's 54 at 230 am

On a another note almost 3000 miles our first week back. That was a nice welcome back :)

'S ok, I'm going to Alabama. And I'm going to really enjoy taking a shower & doing laundry, too, lol. But most of all, I'll enjoy getting out of the truck without putting on the snow boots, heavy coat, hat, scarf, and gloves, first. Freeeedom! :D

DH'ing home to Florida for a week. New co driver starting March 2nd. And lots of stuff to do for the adoption of our grand daughter. Home study, references, fingerprints, interview, etc. I might even have time to work on the truck. That is if I ever put the baby down.

Welcome to the weekend gang.

Ok. Change of flight home till tomorrow. A 60 plus degree upside is keeping me here an extra day. Hard to want to load north for me too. LOL

Anything serious happen to the truck ?? We came home last Saturday just for the weekend and woke to the truck peeing on the drive Monday morning. Wasnt what i wanted to see. Put it in the shop on Wednesday and had a water pump replaced and an overhead ran while it was there. Also had the block heater checked out and its not working correctly so one is on order for first of the week. One thing after another but oh well. Water pump and block heater were original so cant complain much. We got 870k out of both of them and thats pretty darn good. This old girl never ceases to amaze us at how dependable she has been so if we have to throw some bucks her way to make her feel better then thats a small price to pay, although if it could have waited a week longer to happen it would have been better scheduling and would have fell in line with tax time. But, with the weather this last week it was good also.

That is really pretty good for the mileage and time. Good maintenance is always cheaper in the long run.

Naw nothing serious. Ford and G.M. use plastic intake manifolds. They are known to crack once in awhile. I got lucky. Mine made it to 405k. The other stuff is just routine maintenance. There are so many other things I would like to do, but not in this weather. Time to get back south. I was getting things caught up while down there. Even running with a misfire this engine still runs awesome. Why didnt you just put a recirculating tank type coolant heater on you're truck? They work so good and is only like a 20 min install. So simple. And around 50 bucks.
