So this is mostly at OVM he has the same year sprinter and with over a million on it he should have seen everything

Stall at full throttle with engine light, code translates to 0204 injector #4 short...any tips? Right now it's an occasional nuisance don't want to wait till its a problem

sounds like injector cutting out aka failure....injector at either Rock Auto or Euro parts order now....and engine going into total protection mode....thats not a stall..its just shutting down....kinda a stall but a programmed stall....had that myself with no fuel going into injectors...then shutdown AKA stall out....
Trying swapping out #4 with #1 and see if the fault moves with it first to see if it is the injector...

Thanks Ken. Not what I wanted to hear with just over 200,000 miles but I was aware of the possibility

Time to surf ebay deals (and rockauto/europarts)

I just had a #1 injector fault....moved it over to the #2 position..a week later fault read Injector #2 misfire....and I was so happy garage guy couldn't understand why.....until I explained that was the best scenerio to the alternative Cylinder failure....

I just had all 5 injectors replaced in Oregon...of course I was just over the mileage warranty...when #1 failed...what can ya do?...our injectors have come down in price this year...

and don't scrooge out spend the extra 20.00 or whatever and go with OEM

mine was misfire it sensed in the #1 injector problem

....the injector pump problem shut me down completely....all dash board lights came on and coasted to the curb and allowed me to restart as long as I didn't push the RPM's too high and about 60-65 MPH shut me down as the fuel need was too great...

Probably go for the whole set then I have 4 spares lol

Dynamex Canada...My CV days....about 535,000 miles or 850 something Kilometers....318 engine was still great running when parked....

you'll never go wrong by carrying a spare injector if not needed right now....

Set of 5 bosch 592 CDN...what are they stateside?

Finding a starter was near impossible I'm scared to call around for injector
About the starter. In my area, there quite a few shops here that would rebuild your starter and alternator on spot. About $100.

There's got to a place like that near ya. Just a thought.
