Fall then Winter

We have been up north and fall is in the air and as much as I hate to do it I ordered our slush busters. Hard to believe once again it is time to be thinking of the windshield icing over but we will be prepared:

Here is the site if you are new to slush busters or if you are ready to order:

Yep thats what happens, Fall then Winter.... :p

Seriously do you replace them every year?

Have you ever used the heated wiper setup?

Oh speaking of winter, NOAA and the Farmer's Almanac seem to have differing opinions about winter. I know it is trivial but some do follow one or the other.

Yes we replace them every year as they drive Bob nuts when he cleans the windshield. He is always thrilled when summer comes along and he can remove them. They are cheap enough that it is not a big deal.

We tried the heated blades several years ago and the truck is wired for them. The blades and the replacement blades are pretty expensive and they did not hold up long under winter conditions. I have heard they have reformulated the wipers and they will hold up longer but we feel the slush busters work very well for us and they are pretty cheap.

We *ALMOST* had our first snow last weekend in Northern Michigan. 32 In Cadillac and raining and 34 only 20 miles north of that.

Brrr..

Now we are back to a respectable 70's in the daytime and 50's at night. Just perfect weather for the weekend.

Sorry Piper! We were late ordering ours last year and I really missed them. As much as I am not looking forward to winter I would rather be prepared.

Out here in South Dakota, the snow shovel NEVER leaves the front porch...the time between winters is JUST too short!:(

People who live in the UP of MI say there is two seasons
WINTER and The 4 OF JULY. LOL

*lol*..I think we're in the same snow belt! We only had maybe a week total of over 90 this year and it's the third coldest July in history.

I guess our season would be Winter and havest time!
