your not, if i were you i would sign up with panther expedited services there a great company, pay well, dont sit that much, not much d/h, dispatchers are great to there drivers, listen to what the recruiters tell you , they are 100% honest, trust me if your a single truck you will average 2000 plus miles a week and if your a team you should average 3500 plus miles per week, but where the real money is,, is with a cargo van omg loads just dont stop coming in.

peace bra and gl to you ...go with panther top notch classy company

I currently work for EXP-1, and I think they are a pretty good company. I drive a 16ft straight truck and average 2,000 miles weekly. My E-250 van averages 1,500 miles a week. Not alot of down time, usually off on weekends, and load planners work with you. Try to stay in IN,OH,TN,KY area. I did get stranded in FT. Worth Tx for a week.(But that's where I live) Overall I would give them an A-.

Someone asked this same question last week. I am with E-1. My experience has been very pleasant. Everyone I have dealt with in the company has been honest with me.I always get paid when I am suposed to. There is plenty of freight if you hold up your end of the bargain which is the same with any of the carriers: stay in service and don't turn down a lot of loads. By the way, panther ii was singing a very different tune a couple days ago.

I am also with Express-1. My experience has been very good. The dispatchers and corporate staff are very professional and all have a great deal of experience in transportation. They have kept me busy and they proactively look for loads for you. I think you can be successful at most of the companies that are talked about on this forum. The key to success is learning each companies system and then staying in service and running your business profitably. Good luck!

I have been with E1 twice. I have been there as a driver and a fleet owner. They are a fantastic company. I still keep in touch with Folks that work there as friends.

I don't have the room on here to list all the good things but there were many. I did not leave them to change companies. I left because I was going to get out of the business and I then found a dedicated deal here in town and have been doing that for the year and half or I would be back there with an E1 on my truck.
