I am looking at Fatboy for myself. I like the big front tire. I also want the handlebars to come to me, not the beach bars. I want a full dresser though.
We have to finish paying Tracy's Roadking off before I get one though. I have my starter bike that I ride when I do ride. Most times I am on the back of h Roadking though since I really can't keep up with the big bikes and I don't have cruise control. I have a 2001 Yamaha V-Star 650, don't laugh.
My sons have all used it to get their licenses also. I am on my third son to get his license. I was just informed that another son wants to use it also now. They have to figure it out on their own. My only stipulation is they have to take the safety course in order to use my bike. That will leave one more son to get his license. Yes that is 5 sons.
Tracy wants me to take the Road King and let him get another new bike. No way, he got to get his bike off the show room floor, I want get mine off the show room floor also. I will have to have it lowered for me and I want a pink paint job put on it. My daughter in law is having hers airbrushed pink. I told her she is stealing my idea.

Yeah, pink, Tracy isn't thrilled with it either. He says he isn't sure about sharing the road or the garage with a pink Harley. I told him that is fine he dosen't have to share anything else either, lol.
It will look cute, his bike is bright blue and mine will be pink, lol.
I have also considered, red or some other color that is loud. I want the bike(color) to be seen in a distance.

That's what he said also, I also won't have to worry about my 5 sons wanting to ride it. They all ask to ride the Road King, which of course is not permitted. But with pink they won't even ask, lol.
Only thing that makes me hesitate is resale value. But ten I could just repaint it if I sell it. The fact that my daughter in law is having her's done, pushes me to lean toward the pink. It wil go with my black and pink leather coat and chaps.
It would be fun to get a ride together though. The men will just have to put up with me and my girly bike. I don't want to be one of the guys. I want to be the lady biker in the group and have the general public know that is a woman under that leather and helmet, lol.

Thanks Dreamer, I knew you just giving me a hard time.
I have always loved bikes. I am actually the one that got Tracy into them. Took me about 12 years to get him to seriously consider looking into riding. But then again we were (are) poor people. We were raising 8 kids well below poverty level for a family of 4. But we survived and all but one of the kids survived, lost one to a car accident when he was 18, 10 years ago. Now we are trying to build a nest egg to live the rest of our lives on and enjoy ourselves at the same time.
So yes, I will have my own Harley some day, and it most likely will be pink, lol.

Yep, when a kid gets a new bike......thet's where I get my pulling tractor motors.
I threw it out there, but there wasn't enough interest to get it together. I think it would be fun. What are you riding?
