Expediting in Memphis TN?

Can anyone tell me about working in expediting in Memphis TN? I currently work for First Class Expediting in Rochester Hills MI, suburb of Detroit, MI. I have been busy since I started and I like the company so far, money is good! My wife is from Memphis and we are going to move back there eventually and I want to know more about expediting in that area. I have heard FEDX CC has the market cornered there but want to know if anyone works out of that area and how good the mony is, Please reply!!

I don!t feel that FDX CC has a lock on Memphis freight. But since 10,000 or so people work for FDX in Memphis there will probably be some referral freight coming to FDX CC. Hint, instead of laying over in West Memphis Ar where all of the Expediters stay,try to stay in East memphis. We stay on I 55 on the Tn/MS line and it seems to work out better.

Hello Adam, if you're satisfied with First Class, I would talk to them before thinking of changing companies, they should be able to get you loaded there.
