Expedite Expo 2007

The 2007 Expedite Expo is right around the corner. There are so many really neat things scheduled for this year - the tricked out truck giveaway, the chrome shop mafia, I believe Joey Holiday, the workshops and many vendors. It will be here sooner than you think.

What could the carrier companies being represented at the Expo do differently to make it better for the show attendees? We are here to please you, the owner operators and drivers of our industry.

Y'all could provide handouts that explain your carrier's compensation package, including any accessorial charges, available group plans and programs. You could also list a prior year average (not estimated range) of total compensation, for each of solos and teams by vehicle type. Also including average loaded and total miles per year will be helpful in choosing a carrier that suit a potential driver.

It's difficult for an aspiring owner/operator to choose a carrier based on guesstimated, approximate or incomplete revenue possibilities passed by word of mouth.

Thanks for asking a relevant question; we look forward to an appropriate response by each of the carriers that lurk on EO and will attend the Expedite Expo.
