OK, now that I have your attention.. LOL.

It's now been 3 years since I sat this forum up after MANY REQUESTS!!!

Thank you to all those who have participated, and spiced things up. Thank you for keeping those arguements HERE!!

Just a reminder folks.. those who have been here a while know how it works.

FACT: Most people who come to the Soapbox, come here to argue. That's what it's for, and it keeps it off the main forums. If you post in here.. someone WILL disagree with you!!

Keep the arguements here.

1. People are NOT banned for disagreeing.

2. Moderators ARE allowed to express their political opinions too.

3. You are NOT allowed to cuss other members out, or invite moderators to do things with themselves that are not physically possible.

There is a thin line here in the Soapbox as to what is allowed, but it IS there. We do allow more here than in other forums, but there are still limits.


Use some common sense. Disagreeing is fine... cussin others out, (even if you think you're slick and use abreviated, or $&&#&***#(@ ) is NOT allowed.

If you can't follow these few guidelines, please don't post in this forum.

It's good to see everyone thinks it is a laughing matter. A member has been banned and a member with an out of the box sense of humor, granted he did break the rules and according to those rules he got what was coming to him but it seems you, and when I say you I mean those of the normal or regular circle and the followers are actually celebrating the fact that he was banned. That is wrong! What will become of the Soapbox without his opposing opinion,it seems it will become one sided and that will become boring for you the members. Doug seemed and I stress seemed to agree with Obama politics but knowing Doug's sense of humor I believe the joke may be on you. Remember the Doug travels story's? alot of people didn't participate but no one can say they didn't read and someone might say they didn't laugh(I wouldn't trust that person)but the fact is other than that one person that is not to be trusted everyone had their frown turned upside down by Dougtravels at a very low time in the expedite business. Sure this sight is to inform or enlighten people on the expedite business and since reading the threads about the Expo I would be lead to believe it's a small world but the fact is people outside this world are reading and every time I meet another expediter I ask them if they ever checked out EO and their reply is,QUOTE: yeah I read some of the threads but most of it I could do without and I really enjoyed the Dougtravels story's but other than that.UNQUOTE....And that should be a testament to just what Dougtravels meant and I say that because I'm pretty sure that EO has banned a positive influence rather than to have acted sooner and prevented this tragedy. Again, he did what he did he got what he deserved but it could have been avoided. So go ahead have fun with it and remember this is a small world within the real world. And I'm not an "accepted" member of that small world so I now my opinion doesn't matter but the opinions of the outside world is what keeps this such a small world.
