I don't suppose anyone will ever know just how many people EO has helped in those ten years. You can be sure it is a bunch.

Diane and I first learned about expediting by stumbling onto the EO booth at the Mid America Trucking Show in 2003. EO became our gold mine for researching the industry. We learned what questions to ask, who to talk to, how to find a fleet owner, what to expect when we got in and how to run an expediting business like a pro from the first day ... all because of EO!

Saying thank you to the people who created that resource and the expediters who shared their info seems almost trite given what we gained after stumbling onto this resource, but thankful we are. You opened a whole new world to us and our lives are better for it.

You're right. EO has been a big help since I started expediting. It is great we have a place to come and swap experiences or offer advise or just sit back and read about what we all love to do. Expedite!
I haven't been here for the 10 years that some of you have, but the few short years that I have been here have been enjoyable and informative. While most of you are running for the big names, there is a place here for independents, too.
What I find most interesting is how different everyone runs there business, yet it all makes us a living. Some are dead set on CPM theory while others don't look at that way. There is such a variety of opinions here. But all get to comment and the rest listen and for the most part, listen with an open mind. Everynow and then, hair raises on some necks, but it always turns out fine.
I am sure glad I am a member of EO. And hopefully have been a good member.

As a relative newbie to the business of expediting, I can say that EO was the biggest influence in my getting into this industry. I was aware of what the industry was based on selling trucks to a few expediters back in the late 90's.

When i started looking for another business to get into, I simply googled Expediting and EO was where I ended up. for the most part I don't think i could have found a better place to get the information I used to get into this industry. It information contained here and shared by all involved is beyond compare and nothing short of invaluable to a person looking to gain all the knowledge he can about this industry.

Thanks to all that have and continue to contribute. Thanks to the founders and admin who operate this site and Congrats to EO!

When I started to research the industry this is where I started. It is still my main sorce of information. You can always be sure that someone in here will either have the answer to a question or know where to find an answer. I would be lost without it. HEY, how about those stickers? Layoutshooter

We need two size stickers, ones that can fit on the "vent window" and a little bit larger one for the back doors. Maybe licences plate frames too. Layoutshooter

I pay a premium for EO Stickers, hats, jackets, as long as part of the price went to support the web site!! :D

Same here!! Sites like this cost more than a nickle to run so every penny would help!! Layoutshooter

Happy Anniversary E.O.! I stumbled on to E.O. long after I bumbled into expediting so I can't blame Lawrence for getting me into this mess.

I would not have been able to start up as smoothly as I did if it wasn't for EO.

Not only did it provide a ton of info about the business side,

It also gave me a window into the personal side as well...and I still decided to do it!:D

I'm in for the decal! I would proudly put it on the truck.

Lmao
Same here we have to blame our mentors Doc and Marda Rushing (that we met on EO) so I guess the blame has to be shared..
Either way it has been an awesome ride.

Two counts of blatant misuse of an apostrophe in a non possessive plural word.

Since the offender has been on EO for ten years, the sentence will be commuted to time served and three months probation.

Quite a few years ago, I was parked with many other cargo vans in the parking lot at the World Famous Detroiter. Some dude wandered over and told me about a website he'd started for expediters. Rumor has it that it's worked out fairly well for him.

Happy anniversary E.O.!

It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years. I was passing through Cincinnati, when Lawrence contacted me on the CB. He asked if I had a computer, and told me to check out his new web site. I thought it was very well done then, and is still the place to go for anyone in the business.

Keep up the great work. We are all looking forward to your next 10 years.

We stumbled upon the EO booth at MATS as well. We were with Millis Transfer at the time running their "recruiting" trailer. We spoke to Lawrence and also to Phil (although I doubt that either would remember that) :p
EO has been a wealth of information for us and continues to be. Whenever we meet up with someone asking "just what can we haul in that little truck?" we direct them here. Congratulations on 10 years EO!!!

I don't think anyone told me about this place. I just stumbled across it doing some research online when I was deciding about getting into the industry. There are probably quite a few people who end up here that way these days.
