In the last couple of days I've received emails from forum members. I have tried to respond but my response comes back saying undeliverable. For those who emailed, I appreciate you taking the time to email me and I'm sorry my responses wouldn't go through. Until I can figure out what the problem is I'd suggest PM's rather than emails and thanks again for taking the time to email me.

Leo - I was going to write something about this.

If anyone would read my signature, they will find the following;
IF you PM or EMAIL me through EO, please INCLUDE your EMAIL address so I can REPLY

Simply put everyone who uses the email option, please sign and put your email address on it as normal practice. Remember that there is also a limit to how much you can put into the box.

I get a few a day on a busy day but I have no clue who most of these people are. today i got ten emails and only one person I could identify. I gave up being frustrated and live with it.

I use yahoo and when you hit the reply, you can see from whom sent the message. Not sure on other email programs.

I use yahoo and it shows the actual email address rather than the info@eo but it still doesn't go through.

i believe you, but i looked at the source part of the email and there is no email return address other than the info@. I looked at the options but there is nothing i can find to change it.

I am not too techno but mine go through. Not sure where the difference is?
If you are using Outlook maybe that has something to do with it?

Dave,
I am using outlook 2003 but I even changed my profile email address to my Yahoo account and one of my website email addresses, both are sending info@. So i give up, for now.

unless you are using yahoo plus and paying $19.95 per month, yahoo doesn't work properly in outlook 97,00,02, or 03.

If you use your pop3 outlook accout it should work like leo's and daves.

yep your right about this, thanks for the info.

but I am using yahoo through their website, not outlook. I use outlook with the multiple addresses, including my road runner account. This is the only site that this happens at, even my customers sites add the return address to it, but I not complaining about it. I even did a trace on the email to see if there is anythign being stripped but i can't find any of the servers or connections (i.e. routers-switches) where the return email address is, can't find anything.

I can't find any option in the preferences to change this. maybe it is my luck or some supreme internet being don't want me to reply.

Tom Tinker Retired e-mail yahoo I don't think charges for this.
I have it with sbc internet Works great if I get an e-mail from someone I can just transfer their address right to my directory.
I had microsft inbox thing couple times found it hard to use.
Net Zero is pretty good no charge for e-mail part.

Leo, if you got one with a pop-up for HotAmishBabes.com and the Enquirer story about the 3 legged antelope found glowing in the dark in the desert around Roswell, New Mexico; it wasn't mine.

Juz in case you were wunderin' . . .

Well, the mystery is more mysterious. I received an email through the forum from Terry, clicked reply, typed and sent a response and got an email back from Terry that he received it. I tried sending an email to the person who emailed me through the forum prior to that and it failed. I believe it must be a bad email address recorded with the forum userid that's the problem, not anything to do with yahoo mail. Anyway, once again to the users who sent me the emails in the last couple of days, thank you very much.

I am wondering what type of failure your getting. I mean is it one that as soon as you hit send, you get an error or is it one where it looks like it was sent but then you get another email from a server saying it is undeliverable?

It is an immediate failure. One of the 2 who I couldn't respond to has gotten back to me saying it was like I thought and the email address in the forum had a wrong character. With that now fixed it works great so I guess it just reinforces you have to be exact with these computers.
