I see that many dems are moving away from Edwards lately and I can’t really blame them for it.
After his attack on Hillary, then his attack on Giuliani, he seems to be reaching for the fringe crowd by including that famous and some what great American Danny Glover to bring in the wacko vote for him (yes that was meant as a derogatory comment), maybe it is time. But what I guess some dems see in this is a person who is really out of touch with the ability to campaign, change tactics when needed and be a team player. I mean that the dems don’t really mind attacking fellow dems, like Obama and Hillary or start the race for the white house without really being nominated by already attacking republicans on issues or include that great American Danny Glover, friend of Hugo Chavis but I think that they are getting tire of his constant use of class warfare issues in many of his speeches.
For someone like him to speak about being poor, about being uneducated and a bunch of other things gets rather tiring. Mind you I understand his background is not of the poor down trodden person but one of success and wealth who thinks, like Kennedy, that they know what it is like to be poor. I think that this is showing the dems who already move onto other subjects that people don’t care to hear the same thing all the time.
Now for those who don’t know what class warfare is all about, here is a very quick explanation;
If you make $10,000 a year and someone else makes a million dollars a year, you are supposed to be jealous and hate that person.
This sort of mind set allows people to say that you are one of the less fortunate and your opportunities are limited not by your ability or lack of but the fact that someone else makes a million dollars.
That is the very simple version of class warfare.
By the way the there is a big debate on the words less fortunate. Apparently a few think that the term is meaningless because of the definition of fortunate.
And by the way, did you know that Edward’s wife thinks he is like Jesse Helms? Is this also to garnish the religion vote in conjunction with the recent well scripted conversation over religion on CNN among the three top dems?
