Eaton Fuller 6 Speed Help

2003 IHC 4300 - When I shift into 1st. the stick STILL goes way forward almost to the dash, compared to 3rd & 5th. The aluminum top cover had some wear in the spring / ball detent pocket so put a new one on along with a new shift bar. The fork looks OK & I have no problem dropping the assembly into/onto the top of the tranny. HELP Thanks to who reply.

What model is the transmission? Can you take a few pictures of it? There may be a data plate on the side.

5406 series? Top row- reverse is far left, then 1st, 3rd, 5th. Just hoping someone would jump in theirs a check the throw in 1st gear.

Is it possible your shifter shaft is bent or twisted 180 degree off?
