Eating out

I have been approached by a producer of a nationally syndicated radio program who came to me via the The ExpeditersOnline.Com Dining Guide. The producer is interested in interviewing a driver who enjoys looking for the "unusual, out of the way restaurants" where you can get a meal that is special to you, but out of the ordinary.

Rene' and I have eaten at Waffle Houses and dined at a Wolfgang Puck reataurant and just about everything in between. I was, however, unable to recall the specific name and location of any of the many wonderfully unusual places we've visited, mainly because we don't catalog them and seldom return to the same place twice.

If any forum member/driver has a memory better than mine and would be receptive to an interview with a delightful young lady, please PM me prior to Friday, March 30, and I'll put you in touch. Gourmet or gourmand, your story might be interesting, if the eateries are.

Heh,

I'm guessing the McDonald's in west memphis where the owner is claimed to have been a personal friend of Elvis when he was a truck driver isn't quite what ya looking for. My personal favorite is in my dining room cept I can't seem to watch tv while I eat anymore. I knew there was gonna be a problem buying her that new entertainment center.

I have also been approached by that person. This individual is a producer on NPR so while you might get a a favorable review there is a good chance that you might be portrayed as a bumbling, sloppy overweight buffon that knows nothing better then a Waffle House.
