Easter

Easter is next weekend. What are you doing to celebrate and where will you be? I will be going up to my parents house to celebrate my birthday on saturday then on Easter we'll go to sunrise service and breakfast. Then go to our regular church service & come home and make a big ham dinner with all the trimmings. We'll be having several elderly friends over for dinner who would otherwise, be home alone that day.

Well it all depends on where I am on Friday night. If i am within a tank of gas away from home, i'll make it there and do church with the family, and dinner with the extended family.

You mentioned having severak eldery friends over, my wife asked a eldery client of hers to easter last yr, lol it just so happened that she was also a nun, the conversation was good and we all had a good time. The thought is to do it again....

Keep in mind...in Canada, Easter Friday is a stat holiday for everyone! ...make sure you check and confirm your delivery!!

Pelicn you ever going to get out of Florida? We were lucky delivered in Canada on Friday and had no troubles. I was truly amazed coming out of Canada at the lack of trucks at the border and was I glad I was not a car that line put most truck lines to shame.

Linda, we grew up in Orlando. Maybe Panther wants us to move back? LOL Got a hold of a few brokers last night, but nothing is moving until Monday and by Monday we'd have a better chance at expedite. We are wrestling with the idea of just heading home. Decisions decisions

Unless i am missing the point here EASTER is now this weekend as for myself and partner we will be home with grandkids and family members and i will be putting thru the long distance call to australia to wish the family back home a happy easter ,
and hope all of you guys out there have a great easter where ever you might be this easter period

Fun stuff Pelicn! We have a load for Monday so we are free for the weekend to get all of our "fun" housekeeping duties done! We will be home next weekend to catch up with our daughter who just got back to the United States from Iraq! Cannot wait so we are hoping to run hard till that time. Then it will be to heck with the truck and spend time with the family and friends.

We decided to just stick it out and stay in FL for the weekend (unless we get a load). We spent the morning polishing our tanks and wheels, getting the inside of the truck cleaned up etc.
There is a Cracker Barrel just around the corner, so we are headed there for a late lunch.
