Whats the record for dry runs in one day?
We had 2 today.
Run #1 North Carolina to New York.
Run #2 South Carolina to Arizona.
I had to check the calender to make sure it wasn't Friday the 13th.

I also have had two in one day, a couple hours apart. It was the same shipper but different destinations. The dry runs are less painful than the Dry Tortugas.

3 in one day, but the first one had 5 stops scheduled. Turns out that run had been double booked and assigned to 2 trucks, with mine being the last one dispatched so the other truck got the run. Dropped anchor to wait and caught a load in about 30 minutes. Got 10 miles down the road and it cancelled. Next one cancelled before I got out of the lot.

5 in less than 24 hours. Talking about being mad my co driver was really mad at FedEx and almost quit. Being with Panther I have yet to have a dry run, but my other trucks have and I'm not on the road like I was before.

Two more dry runs on Wed.
1. MA to TX
2. NH to MA a <75, 2.5 hours on the dock waiting for paperwork.
So far since Friday 4 of my last 5 runs have been dry runs.
Anyone else having these problems?

I had 3 in one day, same shipper, showed up for the first one and it canceled, before I could leave had a offer for another on, backed back in to the door, and it canceled, third one, I didn't even get off the phone and was offered a great one, this time skid was loaded I signed the paper work and as I walked out the door, it canceled. and I've never been back to that shipper.
