Driving School?

As one of the old timers whose CDL was grandfathered in at the beginning I've quite a bit of experience, but I've not been in a truck for about 4 1/2 yrs. About everything I've looked at is looking for experience within the last 3 years to be considered current. My question (and forgive me if it has been addressed. I didn't find it in searches) is: Would a refresher course in a driving school make any difference? How much time in the school would be needed?

I'm still weighing options, and your answers would be very helpful.

Talk with the recruiters for company specifics but most companies will have you take a refresher then send you out with a trainer for a few days.

You should go for a small trucking co. Usually they don't care when you drove last time a big rig.
