round number examples are easy

60% of a 1000 is 600 dollars plus the 120 FSC = 720 owed minus the 400 advance...final settlement would be $320

Are loaded miles paid a set rate per mile like Panther/E1 etc. that pay the same (theoretically) for all loaded miles like $1.20/mi.? If so then it's easy to say pay is 72cpm (cents per mile) loaded ($1.20 * .6) plus fsc. The driver then knows they are getting 72 cents plus fsc and that I presume changes either week to week or job to job. If it's a company like Landstar that pays % per job and every job is different then they've either got to understand the basics of 60/40 or just accept on faith they're getting 60%.
