Driver License .... Applying/Renewal

I know that some states can print licenses at DMV branches and some do through the mail from Centralized printing shops....


Does anyone here know which side is Michigan on? Are there some branches in MI that you could walk in and get your license renewed or corrections made and walk out with the hard copy - OR - is it "wait for 4 weeks" deal?

You're waiting. On the plus side, it's usually around 2 weeks.

As far as I know, I think USA is right. But, there are some SOS offices that have more capabilities than others. You can get a copy of your driving record on the spot at one of these offices, instead of waiting for it to come in the mail. I'm not sure what all they can do...
