Who is running highway tread drives on their st8 trucks my lug drives are getting thin and it seems my ride is so much better now I am thinking of changing for the spring summer fall seasons

Thanks
Best brands I have had awesome luck with retreads as I don't haul more than 9k so heavy weights don't tear em up

My truck came with lugs and started showing a funky wear pattern fairly quickly. I switched to highway tread and I've gotten much better wear.

Some of the softer lug tires will heal tow wear just flip them so they wear even. I prefer drives like the Bandag mega trek with closed shoulders and lugged centers. Allot more stable and decent traction.

I always ran closed shoulder lugs in the rear, and believe it or not, found that I got just as long of wear with Japanese knock-offs out of Georgia, by the Jackson J, or in Bell, California, called Dynatrak, that look identical to Bridgestone 726's, same tread design, and depth, but half the price. You really can't tell the difference between the two except the name on the sidewall. No problems with them at all.

Steers I ran Continental's HSL 14 ply's and loved them, A little pricey, but I felt The steers were the most important since they hold so much weight, and steer the vehicle.
