Dream Truck

Here's a chance to build a dream truck from the ground up with all the bells and whistles, if that is what you want. Be as creative as you like, so where do we start?

Happy Holidays

Wow, right up my alley! Big power, bigger tranny, and of course the biggest sleeper allowed by law! Honestly I would go with a day-cab class 8 Volvo [my preference] super single tandem axle rears, 400 gallons of fuel tank, stainless exhaust system....kinda see where I'm going here? Sleeper wise of course aero-dyne style in the 200 inch range, full of all the goodies including a 42 inch plasma screen that folds into the ceiling, of course the ceiling is mirrored and custom backlit, corian counter tops, shower walls, porcelain toilet. Pretty much look at a 1.4 million dollar Vantare Coach and duplicate it! Intercom system [no more beating on the door at 3 in the morning] be civilized and ring the bell! Belly boxes for storage and another big screen TV while outside in your reclining chairs cooking on your gas grille some fresh fish you caught in that stream that all the other real truckers can't stop at....because there too big! It goes without saying in-motion satelite and internet, as well as a satelite phone. It can all be yours if you got the money! Thats enough for now..have fun "dreaming and reaching for the stars" as KC Kasem would say

Education is the best defense against the media.

The Lord's Prayer is 66 words, the Gettysburg Address is 286 words, there are 1,322 words in the Declaration of Independence, but government regulations on the sale of cabbage total 26,911 words.

That is what I am missing; the big screen tv
If I didn't have to haul freight I could add a hot tub and pool table.

Well, it'd have to be an Freightliner Argosy COE with 63" day cab, 102" condo and a 26' box + liftgate (if my math adds right).

High bunk one side, with pull-out sleeper/couch below. Toilet, sink, micro, NovaKool 4.3 CuFt refrig., ample storage, KVH tracvision satellite w/ internet, SONY Sony KE-32TS2 32" WEGA plasma, Webasto engine heater w/ cab. heat exchangers, roof mount DuoTherm low profile AC unit, well placed Peninsula rv windows, and ... plenty of fuel.

That said ... I thought these units were kinda interesting ... although not quite expediters -- one could pass.

All that stuff that article said was in there, and you don't have a big TV? That's be my first thing in a truck your size!

Well, since we're dreaming, I'd like a 180 inch sleeper and a freight box that is 14 feet long on the outside and 24 feet long on the inside!

Don't we need to add some space for freight, maybe low profile roof racks will do the trick?
With a price tag of $938,750 mortgage would be $15,645.83 plus interest leaving cost per mile around??? Glad this is a dream cause the math would be a nightmare.
