Been that way all summer. Worse when going west than east.

Pretty much! Or at least this summer...I remember seeing signs say construction next 150 miles consider alternative route. Though there were some spots not under construction.

To make matters worse 18 wheeler trailer caught fire on I-40 west and really stacked traffic. Saw on TV, no injuries.

I-80 eastbound between San Fran and Teaneck NJ has a rolling patching crew causing slight delays.
