One thing my wife told me about soft drinks in the US as opposed to Canada is that Canada uses actual sugar, rather than high fructose corn syrup (which is cheaper... go figure). Personally, I like the sugar laden DrPepper over HFCS; but I guess I'll have to survive with the good ol US's version.

Fructose corn syrup? No wonder they taste so syrupy. I stopped drinking sodas/pop about a month or so ago because of having high sugar in my blood. Now I can't drink one because of the syrupy taste it has now, never knew they actually tasted so bad until I stopped drinking them for awhile.

i stooped drinking sodas about 15 years ago,when i found i had sugar.But just once in a great while,that bottle of Pepsi just hits the spot.I miss that more than the alcohol,or cigarettes
