A couple who are older and in their empty nest years had always talked about sex as "doing the laundry" when they were raising their children. So it didn't change once the kids were gone.
Ole man comes in the kitchen where wife was washing dishes and asks, We gonna do laundry tonight, honey? A little on the touchy side, she says, Not tonight, I am not in the mood. Ole man shrugs and leaves the room. Little while later, the wife feels guilty about the way she spouted off to him. She sticks her head in the door of the room and says, O.K. honey, we can do the laundry tonight. He replies, Nevermind now, it was a small load so I did it by hand!
