Hi I am new here, I have Dodge Sprinter 3500 and I am looking for some freight brokers that work with expedite loads only.
Can anyone recommend me some good brokers in Midwest area?
Thank you

Unless you change the floor so you can take 48"+ wide skids, you aren't going to get enough action to make it worthwhile.

If he doesn't already know where he's going to get freight from, it isn't going to be worthwhile, anyway. Not really enough information to go on, but it would seem that he's put the cart before the horse.

First make sure its under 10000lbs gvw or your logging. A lot of them are not.

More than likely you'll see more freight from added height than weight so a 3500 may not be your best choice since a raised floor lowers the available space.

Also with a 3500 you will lose some weight carrying capacity and take a hit on fuel mileage with the addition of two extra tires and rims. The raised floor increases the center of gravity of the vehicle and adds some more additional weight, but insulating it would be a plus.

I think xiggi meant to say under 10,001 lbs gvw.

A 2500 is the better bet here. Those wheel wells gobble up an awful lot of space, and while you can get around that by raising the floor that comes at the cost of giving up ceiling clearance, which is one of the reasons for having a Sprinter in the first place.

It's really simple: The 2500 Sprinter will fit a 48" skid between the wheel wells with a little clearance to spare. The 3500 will NOT clear between the wells, so that means you either have to raise the floor or do without larger loads.
