Hello everyone,

I'm doing some research, and I'd like your help.

I'm curious as to how many drivers blog, and/or have a MySpace or similar page.

Please send me an email by clicking on the email icon to the left, so that I can send you a brief questionaire.

Thanks!

We keep a private photo/written journal.

Prefer to not have our routines, schedules, customers and other essentially private information become public knowledge.

There is no fixed definition of "blog." The whole concept of blog and blogging is relatively new. Here one of many definitions.

"Blog. Short for Web log. An online, public and informal journal that is frequently updated by it's author ("blogger"); conveys the author's comments, views and stories. May include political, philosophical, or religious beliefs; personal or business news; travelogue entries, web links and photos. May be written as a diary for family and friends, news-and-views for business colleagues, and/or broadcast items intended to awaken or influence public opinion."

How does a blog differ from something like the EO Open Forum? Given the huge number and wide variety of blogs out there today, and the varying levels of interactivity that bloggers encourage or discourage, that would not be an easy question to answer; nor is it important to do so. Blogging is an emerging phenomonon. In a few years, there will be a more standard definition of the term.

Heck, it was just a few months ago that Microsoft announced that in its opinion, and in its use of the word, "internet" will not be capitalized. Correct: internet. Incorrect: Internet. Though, Merriam-Webster OnLine says, "Internet" is correct.
