Do all companies require newer vehicles?

Hi. I'm just starting to think about using my van to make some money and I have noticed that the local company I was interested in driving for requires your cargo van to be no more than 5 years old which puts me out of the game right away.

Any info would be much appreciated. Thank You

Not all companies will require a vehicle to be 5 years or newer but most of the big ones do. Some companies use the 5 year policy as a general requirement but you may find that they might make an exception for one that is a little past that mark if it is in good condition.

You just have to ask the recruiters for the various companies. They do tend to make exceptions. For example if you live in a area where they consistently fail to cover a load for lack of vehicles.
