saw my first casualty of the DPF,in this case from what the mech. told me is the person did not heed to the warning signs, now he has to have the turbo,DPF,ejectors, all replaced because the filter became clogged with the leftover ash in the tank which caused the turbo to become clogged which wiped it out and this was a truck with close to 400000 miles and only a 08.So when those lights start blinking have it checked out if he would have had the tank cleaned out the other damage would not have happened.
