Expert Expediter
I was hoping to get 400,000 miles out of the original brakes on the "Dream Van"!

Unfortunatly I didn't quite make it. I only got 385,957. Not complaining. Another couple thousand miles would have ruined the rotors so went ahead and did a full brake job.
My Michelin tires had 155,685 miles on them. Three had about 8mm tread left on them. My dealer and I had watched one tire wear faster than the other three. We had kept the pressure correct and moved it all around on the van and it just kept wearing faster than the others. Also all four tires had little cracks on the side of the tread all the way around the tire. These were not down on the side wall but on the side of the tread. He called Michelin and gave them all the info. They gave me 40% off a new set of tires. That many miles and then out the door with four new Michelins for $363.00. Can't beat that for customer service from the dealer and from Michelin.
Other than oil and filter changes the van has required only one fuel pump,an alternator rebuild, three sets of sparkplugs,a $2.50 bearing for the belt tensioner, and now the brake job. Needless to say I am very pleased with the "Dream Van"
