Well, i'm sorry i'v mist that call.
i would'v thanked her for the agency.
that agency is an important part of our gov.
it makes for a great 'Air Crash investigation' TV show.
watched all of them.

I would have also nailed the bureaucrat with some very embarrassing questions if given the chance.

so Linda, can you please someup the call, for the ones that where too busy to participate ?

Working through the pile of trucking magazines that builds up at home when we are on the road, I came across today the Land Line Magazine article about the Trucking Solutions Group (Land Line, Aug/Sept, 2011).

I have to tip my hat to the Caffees and others in this self-starting, self-appointed group. It is an example of effective activism initiated by people who did not wait around for permission or an opening to make a difference in the industry. They rose up on their own, made noise, got people's attention and are having an impact.

People who have not been involved as change agents may not fully appreciate the time, effort, commitment and sacrifice such an effort takes. I do and I salute your efforts.

Thanks Phil and it is a lot of work but the rewards match or exceed the effort put into the group.

The agent of change is that we are taking control of our own destiny and getting our voices heard.

OOIDA always preaches that we either get ourselves up to the dinner table or we become the meal.

Our group started in 2008 and we have at least one conference call a week and usually two, one for our health group and one for the main group. We are a diverse group of O/O which creates a unique situation for vendors to use us as a focus group. We have met with tire engineers, cab design, engine design and our ideas could be used in the future design of these products. We also get from them how to get the most out of their designs. We have this to be a win win situation.

We are always looking for new people to join in with our group to talk with the people who create these products.

One thing that we find awesome is over the past few years is what a close knit group we have become and how much we rely on and enjoy each other.
