Deactivating Passenger airbag Ford E150

I have a 2008 Ford E150. Wanting to remove the passenger seat. When it was removed, the airbag light comes.
The van doesn't have a switch on the dash to deactivate the passenger side airbag.
Is there a way to either deactivate the passenger side, or take the plug off of the seat and plug it in and "fool" the computer into thinking the seat is there?

Thanks for any advice, and have a Great and Glorious day!

Another question on this. If the light remains on, does that deactivate the driver's side airbag?

You have to go to a ford dealer that is willing to help you. They may not citing some BS laws about safety equipment.

A lot of vans are built with a passenger air bag delete option - even though the dealer will say it never exists - and there is a plug with a special resister that is plugged into the harness where the air bag would be plugged into that makes it look like the air bag is there.

The alternative is to seek out an exporting dealer or an upfitter and ask them.
