Curtain Side Car Hauler Straight Truck

Has anyone ever thought about setting up a used curtain side car hauler straight truck as an expediting rig? It seems like this could be a neat rig if you added barn doors to the back. The curtain side would allow you to haul some flatbed freight, but then I suppose the curtain side might prevent you from being able to haul some expedited freight.

As long as it weather tight your good to haul Expedited freight. I saw one in March in Grand Rapids Michigan. The truck was not in as good as condition as the Curtain was but it was weather tight according to the driver no rain or snow got in.

His down side was the tracks would freeze up so he had to keep warm antifreeze/water in the cab to poor in the tracks, they did have seep holes but you know what happens to snow when it is not removed. It was dual axle rear so he hauled steel as well as dry van freight.
