Don't be over weight.
More than 4,500 trucks passed through the Greenwich weigh station on Interstate 95 in the past four days, and $75,000 in total fines were levied, including a $15,000 ticket for a vehicle 40,000 pounds overweight.

Well you should never be overweight and the fines should be a lot more.

40000 lbs over weight,thats hard to believe,must have been a permitted load and bad permit. there are a number of reasons a guy could be overweight,sometimes you can even go back on the shipper

Had a load one time that the papers said 6500 lbs it felt heavy so I did a rare thing and scaled it, over 13,000 lbs went back to the shipper and to make a long story short, figured out it was 6500 kilos not pounds.
