crappy week

Well, my work life is kida crappy now. I hired a driver on 7/10, he quit the next day. Then, i got a driver on 7/21, he lied on application, had 3 page rap sheet, and couldn't do canada:-( Met him in Detroit, found out that Ford in Brook Park,oh hit my rear header and damaged all my hindges, and he just left without saying a word:'( $1200 parts and labor. Had an injector go out today 8/14 and had a bad speed sensor $750 parts and labor. Wost yet, on 7/30 had 5 of my tractors stolen from southside of Chicago, and I have a lot of mixed feelings about that. That only leaves me with 1 tractor and 1 stright truck now. So, I'm going back on the road in my "D" unit for a few months, till all the insurance gets worked out, but i'm gonna take a hit right where it counts. Enough of this sad crap, hope everyone is doing better than me:9 I hope to meet some of ya while i'm on the road, later

Jeez paperback, how does one get 5 tractors stolen? Hope things turn around for you real soon.

well I thought I was having a bad week. As some of you all know I have been looking to get into expediting. Just checking out the possibilities and such. So the week starts off with my oldest daughter coming into tell me she is moving to Georgia to live with her sorry husband who has cheated on her three time and currently has another woman pregant. So she up and takes the grandkids that we have raised since they were babies. well that doesn't sit to well with granddad so naturally my job performance hasn't been the greatest at work. So my supervisor who is trying to make a name for himself trys to make me the example for the week. Luckily I went on vacation on wed to spend some time with friends. well the wife goes to the doctor to make sure her back is good to go and can handle driving long distance. all is good a bright spot. well on the way home the power steering pump blows and strands her 100 miles from the house. got it to shop and I only lose a couple of days vacation time. oh well maybe I wll have to get into expediting quicker than I expected. looks like mid sept now rather than after the first of the year. got to find a way to get to augusta a little more often to see those grandkids.
Sorry paperback didn't mean to vent on your thread but I did see another thread that put the week in perspective, it at least brought a smle to my face, the thread was check out this link posted today.
