Great news from John Elliott with Load One - he is providing a outdoor cooling center for the expo attendees! Thank you John for thinking of EVERYONE!

Also, as always - indoors at the Roberts Centre will be ICE COLD!

We look forward to seeing everyone!

Am I the only one who thinks that there should be heaters installed to give prospective expediters the "Laredo experience"?

Do you need me to park my 53 ft box somewhere to make shade?

This picture was emailed to me today. Kind of a coincidence I thought.

HOW HOT IS IT IN TEXAS ?

This is Elliot, an English Bulldog, and this is an

"un-posed" picture

(trust me, you couldn't actually make Elliot do anything)

of said pooch trying to beat the TEXAS heat after his

Hey when you get here see if you can park to provide shade to someone sleeping in their truck! I get so frustrated at you big guys I get all settled in the shade of the trailer and there you go you take off and leave me in the sun.....

Looking forward to you getting here!

Normally its a nuisance but we will scout out the west side of the lot Friday to drop it for shade. Looking forward to it also.

Hey some guys like sitting for 10 to 12 or more days working on their Spanish, getting a tan , rattle snake hunting, and best of all learning expedited tricks from the pro's lined up at the corner of the J or TA . Even seen some guys work on their dating skills by taking the boys town shuttle bus.

Sad part is that my god never did see so many expeditors as my last laredo run at least 100 + mixed vehicles between the 2 stops. Glad I had a round trip from Dallas for my load.

Spot on, Jack - it'll be the first place I check out, lol.

Wolfeman: we NEED the photo, after that description!
[Is there an English bulldog anywhere who can be made to do anything? Don't think so - but they are awfully loveable.]

We have mixed results with Bob. While you can tell he hates it, dressing him up is no problem. Getting specific poses can be a problem. When I was taking pictures of the Harley, negotiations with an attractive young lady broke down over a wardrobe disagreement. I thought her wearing my chaps while topless was genuine art. So, as an alternative, we tried to get Bob to lay on his back showing his junk. Didn't work out.
