That, sir, is totally up to you, as owner operators, it is totally up to you what loads you accept or don't accept. Your future is in your hands. We are not forced dispatch, so when you do not want a load you do not accept the load.
Your business is a Small Business and should be treated as such. When you turn down freight, is kind of like telling a customer that comes up to a shop door, that you don't want their business.
If you treat each load as a customer that comes to you to move freight, then your business will grow, where as if you keep turning customers down, because the freight is going the wrong way, or will leave you in a bad area, then the customer just goes to one that will haul the freight. Easy as that.
You go home when you need to, not when we will let you. Like I said earlier, it is your truck, and we will not tell you what to do with it.
